Brittany Eppard, Nurse Practitioner

Brittany Eppard

Nurse Practitioner, AGACNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Brittany is a dual certified nurse practitioner with specialties of Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Brittany attended Winona State University in Minnesota for both of her specialties. After completing her AGACNP program she worked at Mayo Clinic in the hepatobiliary surgical department. She made the transition to Mental Health as she observed the role it had with all of the patients she worked with, and she wanted to be equipped to support that piece of their care. She has been solely practicing in Mental Health since 2018.

Brittany believes in supporting the whole person and will work with you to provide education and information on a continuum of treatment options to best support your mental wellness.

Brittany finds joy in life through adventure. She spends most of her days, when not at work, in the outdoors doing things like skiing, fly fishing, hiking, or walking through the forest.

Heather Davidson

Nurse Practitioner
PMHNP-BC

Heather received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University in 2011. She practiced as a registered nurse for a decade in a variety of settings including working in a pediatric inpatient psychiatry unit, an Adult Intensive Care Unit, in the Operating Room, and doing Pediatric Home Healthcare. While pursuing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification she was reminded of her true passion for being at the intersection of both physical and mental health, and the interconnectedness of the two, and decided to pursue becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.  She graduated from The University of Nevada, Reno’s Orvis School of Nursing with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice specializing in Psychiatric and Mental Health in May of 2022.

Heather’s professional passions include helping individuals, families, and communities to improve their mental wellness, live with more ease, and find more joy throughout the waves of life. Heather specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and the impacts of stress and trauma.

Things that bring Heather joy personally include wandering in the woods, skiing, camping, rollerblading, and spending quality time with family and dear friends.

Mandy Korver Portrait, PMHNP-BC

Mandy Korver

Nurse Practitioner
PMHNP-BC

Mandy has dedicated her nursing career to mental health care. From her early days as an emergency room nurse to her recent role as a school nurse in the Flathead Valley, she has witnessed the profound impact of mental health on every stage of life. This influence led her to pursue a Master’s in Science of Nursing, a testament to her passion and dedication to mental health care.

Outside of her professional life, Mandy’s curiosity about lifestyle choices and their impact on wellness has been a driving force. Whether it’s the science behind sleep hygiene, the effects of light and darkness, the importance of movement and nutrition, or the role of social connection and stress control in our well-being, she is always eager to delve deeper into these areas.

When she’s not engaged in her professional pursuits, she finds joy in simple pleasures: savoring fresh mountain air, exploring new locations, and enjoying leisurely days on the lake with her family and a close-knit group of friends.

Jessica Nelson Nurse Practitioner at Headwaters Wellness Portrait

Jessica Nelson

Nurse Practitioner
PMHNP-BC

Jessica received her Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University in 2022. After that, Jessica began working as a psychiatric RN while simultaneously completing further education to become a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. Jessica graduated with her PMHNP from Duke University in May of 2024. Jessica has found herself drawn to behavioral health care and support since the beginning of her education simply for the fact that threads of mental health complexities are found everywhere, and often overlooked. Jessica is eager to provide care that is collaborative, free of judgment, and individualized to each client.

Jessica finds interest in the way mental health is tightly tied to the body and recognizes that both the mind and body must be given attention in order to improve client outcomes. Her goal is to work with clients to provide education and support which empowers clients to use learned tools and make informed decisions to make lasting improvements to mental health and way of life.

Jessica enjoys the great outdoors and pursues activities filled with challenge and excitement, such as snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking. She also finds great value in balance and is an avid reader, preferably in a spot with a beautiful view.
